Orders are usually processed within a day. Once payment has been received your books are picked from our shelves, their condition checked and then carefully packed, usually in bespoke strong cardboard book mailers. We aim to ship your order within two or three days.

UK Delivery
Standard UK delivery – free
We send the majority of orders via Royal Mail second class. Royal Mail aims to deliver second class post within three working days. Most standard delivery orders are received within five to 10 days.
Tracked UK delivery – £5
We send the majority of tracked orders via Royal Mail second class. Royal Mail aims to deliver second class post within three working days but it can take longer. Most tracked delivery orders are received within five to 10 days.
Express UK delivery – £15
We aim to dispatch express orders within 24 hours. We send the majority of tracked orders via Royal Mail first class. Royal Mail aims to deliver first class post the next day but it can take a day or so more. Most express delivery orders are received within three to four working days.
Express and tracked (E&T) UK delivery – £20
We aim to dispatch E&T orders within 24 hours. The majority are sent via Royal Mail first class, tracked. Most E&T orders are received in three to four working days.
Local Collection
Should it be more convenient for you, you are welcome to collect your order from us directly in Chartham Hatch. Please contact us in advance to arrange a convenient time for collection and so that we can ensure your book(s) are to hand and ready for you.
Large and Heavy Orders
Please note that for very large or heavy orders, or more valuable books, we may use different shipping services to ensure you receive your books promptly and in good order.
Overseas delivery
If you wish to have book(s) delivered to another country, please contact us to arrange. Costs of overseas delivery vary depending on the destination country, the weight and value of your order and chosen delivery speeds. Alternatively, the majority of stock is also available through our Bookshop Windows on ABEbooks.com and Biblio.com, where international shipping is an option on checkout.
