First edition, first impression. 188pp, monochrome portrait plate frontispiece and one further black and white plate illustration. Blue cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on the spine. 8vo. Cloth a little rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends. Previous owner’s name neatly pencilled on the front free endpaper. Endpapers and first and last few pages quite heavily spotted else internally neat, clean and tight. In its original dust jacket, rubbed and bumped on extreme edges, shelf worn, scuffed at spine head with hint of spotting on verso. Upper text block edge dust marked.
