Mr Fairweather and His Family

First published in 1960, this is a sixth impression copy which appears to date from the early 1970s.  32pp, with coloured illustrations throughout.  Pictorial boards. 4to. Boards have a little shelf wear, a little bumped at spine ends and slightly rubbed on extreme edges,  Internally neat, clean, bright and tight.  .In its original, illustrated dust wrapper,, shelf worn and  faintly spotted,  lightly rubbed at edges , more markedly so at spine tips and corners, recent barcode label affixed at base of rear panel.  

A lovely, evocative copy of this classic of children’s literature, delightfully illustrated by Margery Gill and, unusually, complete with the dust wrapper.  Dust wrapper now protected in an archival quality Mylar wrapper fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
