Sun-faded spine; rubbed spine ends, cloth fraying. All text block edges starting to tan. Previous owner’s bookplates on pastedowns, endpapers foxing and tanning. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. Addresses given in February and March 1901 at various Societies and Universities of the United States.
