Lending sheet on front free endpaper, no other library markings. Old tape repair in front endpaper gutter and title page. Pages well-thumbed, a little spotting. In its original dust jacket r (rubbed at edges, old tape reinforcements, minor loss around corners, portion of backstrip absent, shelf wear). Jacket fitted with archival-quality mylar wrapper to protect & prolong its life. It is not adhered to the book or to the jacket. James Hadley Chase was a pen name of Ren� Lodge Brabazon Raymond.
