First edition, first impression.  Book produced in conformity with war economy standards.  216pp with colour plate frontispiece.  Blue cloth-covered boards with deep blue lettering on the spine.  12mo.  Boards are marked and heavily stained, very gently rounded at corners and spine ends.  Internally neat, fresh, bright and tight. In its original dust wrapper, price clipped, chapped around edges with some loss at spine ends and, less so, along lower edge and around rear upper corner, slightly shelf worn. soiled on interior.  Dust jacket now protected in an archival quality Mylar wrapper fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
