2nd edition, revised and enlarge from the first edition f 1948. xvi, 204pp.  Terracotta coloured cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on spine.  8vo.  Cloth is significantly rubbed at corners and spine ends, faded over spine, obscuring titles.  An ex university library copy with labels and lending sheet on the front endpapers and a small stamp and annotation on the copyright page (no other library markings).  Small area of staining on half title page, and a few minor signs of handing throughout, else internally clean, bright and tight.
