Complete in two volumes. A reissue of the 1926 Oxford edition. xiv, 456pp; 464pp, with maps and one folding map at rear. Both volumes uniformly bound in green cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on upper panels, gilt titles on brown relief on spine. 8vos. The occasional mild mark on cloth, cloth very slightly rounded at spine ends. Mild spotting on text block edges. Internally there’s a suggestion of browning to page else neat, clean and tight throughout. A very smart, presentable set of this uncommon title.
