Undated but likely circa 1920. Fourth edition. xiv, 488pp, with tissue-guard colour plate frontispiece, further monochrome plates interleaved in pages and line drawings in text. Red cloth pictorial boards with black and gilt titles front and spine. Upper text block edge gilt. 8vo. Boards are worn and a little faded, rubbed and rounded on corners and spine ends, with some rubbing on joints, marked. Text block edges a little dust dulled. Previous owner’s name inked on the front free endpaper; endpapers a little toned and marked else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.
