First edition, first impression.  416pp, with colour plate illustrations and monochrome illustrations in text.  Quarter bound in white cloth over cream-coloured boards, with gilt titles at spine.  8vo.  Volume is neat, clean, bright and tight throughout barring a little dustiness on the upper text block edge.  In its original, illustrated dust wrapper, a little bumped on edges and gently rubbed on corners, slightly shelf worn.
