304pp, with black and white illustrations in text. Canvas spine over strong card covers, internal clip binding securing the looseleaf manual. 4to. Covers remain strong and firm, but are toned, heavily rubbed around edges, with some small chips and light staining on rear panel. Internally the first and last few pages have a little browning on extreme edges and in gutters, with some minor signs of use throughout but generally neat, clean and tight.

Contains parts I (General Principles of Diving) and II (Surface Supplied Diving) but not part III or the various appendices detailed in the contents list.
