Official programme for the 1965-66 production of Lionel Bart’s Twang at the Shaftesbury Theatre in London’s West End, starring James Booth and Barbara Windsor. The production – a retelling of the story of Robin Hood and his Merry Men – received scathing reviews and closed after just over a month. It was a box office disaster, costing Lionel Bart much of his personal fortune.
