First UK edition, first impression (previous published in the USA).  400pp, with black and white illustrations.  Grey cloth-covered boards, gilt-stamped lettering on the spine.  8vo.  Cloth a little rounded and faded around corners and spine ends.  Upper text block edge dust darkened, remaining edges a little toned.  Hint of toning in margins of first and last few leaves else internally neat, clean and tight.  In its original dust wrapper, a little bumped an discoloured at edges.  Dust wrapper now protected in a clear plastic film, not adhered to volume or jacket.
