Not dated but circa. 1950. 254pp with eight colour plates and nearly 300 further illustrations. In pictorial boards with linen backstrip (boards are worn, especially on edges, rubbed and rounded at corners, spine cloth lightly rubbed at ends and joints). Two numbers written in pen on the front endpapers, gift inscription dated 1952 on half title page, occasional mild signs of fingering, last six leaves have a short corner crease. 4to. A lovely vintage volume celebrating the early days of motoring, with charming period illustrations.
