Bumped corners and spine ends, cloth wearing. Text block edges tanning and foxing. Endpapers tanning, previous owners name and date on front free endpapers (1902). Title page missing. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight, barring very occasional foxing. 12mo. Colour frontispiece of Joan of Arc and numerous black and white in-text illustrations.
