Undated but circa 1940. 42pp stapled booklet, with black and white photographic illustrations and two folding plans. Printed light card covers. 8vo. Covers are worn and rubbed, especially on corners and spine ends, a little toned, corners slightly curling. Internally, pages are browned, with some little spotting in places.

A guide to and history of the Hal Tarxien Prehistoric complex (the Tarxien Temples), the archaeological site on the island of Malta consisting of four megalithic structures built between 3000 and 2500 BC, predating Stonehenge and the Egyptian pyramids. This is an old and aged copy but now very hard to find.
