First edition, first impression. 232pp, with monochrome plate frontispiece and further black and white illustrations in text. Green cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on the spine. 8vo. Cloth is a little tired and very slightly rubbed at spine ends. Text block edges and pages toned, with some spotting and rusting on brighter endpapers. In it original dust wrapper, moderately rubbed at edges, toned and spotted internally, shelf worn.
