First edition, first impression. 314pp, with colour plate frontispiece, songs, music and line drawings. Quarter bound in yellow cloth over grey cloth, with gilt lettering and decoration front and spine. Cloth just a little brushed at spine ends. Upper text block edge dust dulled. Internally pages are perhaps a little creamy else neat, clean and tight barring a previous owner’s name neatly inked on the front free endpaper. In its original matte dust wrapper, faded, rubbed all round edges and folds, with a few small nicks, sunned over spine.
