xii, 152pp, with black and white frontispiece and four further black and white plate illustrations, one large folding map (of Romney Marsh).  Red cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on the spine.  Cloth very slightly rubbed at corners and spine ends, a few minor marks, a little sunned over spine, dulling titles.  Internally neat, clean, bright and tight.
