32pp.  In a later binding (original card covers retained) of red cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on spine.  8vo.  Cloth a little rubbed at corners and spine ends, sunned over spine.  Very light toning to pages, making them just less than bright.  Bookplate of F William Cock of Appledore, Kent on front paste down.

Mackeson comments on one of the manuscripts in his collection – an account book of the Fraternity dated 1466-1532. Mackeson (1812-1894) discovered a group of reptile bones in the Lower Greensend near Hythe, which he later presented to the British Museum. F William Cock was a Kentish antiquarian and amateur historian (1858-1943).
