1976 reissue (first published 1902). 318pp, in plain green cloth-covered boards with gilt titles on spine. 8vo. Boards very slightly rubbed around base of spine. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight barring previous owner’s name on front free endpaper. In its original dust jacket, very slightly bumped along upper edge and slightly sunned on spine. A remarkable collection of short stories of a Norfolk Village in the 1890s (for Dulditch read Shropham) written by a local farmers wife who was also well-known as a novelist.
