Not dated but circa 1910. 312pp. Monochrome plate frontispiece and five further similar illustrations, all by W S Stacey. Decorated initial letters. In decorated blue-cloth boards, illustration and gilt lettering front and spine (boards a little worn and dulled, rubbed and rounded on corners and spine ends). Previously owner’s inscription, dated 1918, on tanned endpapers. Gutter strained between frontispiece and title page but holding, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.
