First edition, first impression. x, 164pp, plus a section of 24 black and white plate illustrations at rear, a few monochrome figures in text. Blue cloth-covered boards with silver lettering on dark blue relief on spine.  Series decorated endpapers.  12mo.  Cloth a little discoloured in extreme margins, slightly pushed in at spine ends.  Some faint toning and spotting on text block edges.  A little mild toning on first and last few leaves else neat, clean, bright and tight internally.  In its original dust wrapper, not price clipped, worn, soiled and heavily indented, rubbed on edges, with some faint tanning in margins, short tear with minor loss on rear panel.
