Cloth is faded, especially over spine, a little rippled around one bumped corner, shelf worn. Stamp of Kent Education Committee on front and rear paste down endpapers, lower corner of pages a little bumped, else internally neat and clean. The aim of this little book is to give children an introduction to some of the more interesting parts of the History of Mathematics, with some practical exercises included designed to consolidate learning. An accessible and interesting slim volume.
