517-612pp, periodical in light card printed covers, with two portraits.  8vo.  Covers a little faded and rubbed at edges.  Internally a little wear to page edges, last few leaves have short crease across lower corners, last leave has a some mild rusting.  Booklet now protected in clear plastic wrapper.

This issue of St Martin’s Review is largely dedicated to remembering the life and work of Hugh Richard Lawrie Sheppard, known as Dick, the Anglican priest and pacificist – following this experiences on the front during the Great War – who founded the Review.  It includes a brief poem by Sassoon, The Heaven of our Hearts, dedicated to Sheppard (to H R L S], and well as a selection of articles and reminiscences of his impact.
