Complete in two uniformly bound volumes. Volume One: 200pp. Volume Two: 200pp. In deep blue cloth-covered boards with faded gilt lettering and decoration front and spine. All edges blue. (Boards are strong and square with very little wear, just slightly rounded at spine ends, volume one has a small white mark on the back) Previous owner’s gift inscriptions, dated 1942, on front free endpaper of each volume, and a hint of tanning in page margins, else internally neat and clean. Firmly bound. Contains the operas H.M.S. Pinafore, The Pirates of Penzance, Iolanthe and The Mikado in Volume Two and Trial by Jury, Patience, Or Bunthorne’s Bride, The Yeoman of the Guard and The Gondoliers in Volume One.
