The Science of Breath explores the link between the physical and spiritual self, and how breath control can lead to mental clarity and well being. Yoga Ramacharaka was one of several pseudonyms of William Walker Atkinson (1862-1932), an American lawyer, author and occultist who was a leading figure in the New Thought Movement of the early 20th century. He wrote extensively on the practice of yoga, Eastern philsophies and breath control, his books often blending Western ideas with Easter thought. Many of his works were published by the Hindu-Yogi Society, which he founded.
