36, 804, 26pp (advertisements), with occasional illustrations including monochrome plate portrait of Hans Moldenhauer.  Brown light cards covers printed with brown lettering and illustration on upper panel.  8vo.  Gentle edge wear to card covers, internally neat, clean, bright and tight.

The first section of this large volume comprises a traditional programme for a remarkable series of seven concerts performed by the London Sinfonietta and the BBC Symphony Orchestra in December 1978 and January 1979.  The concerts, at the Royal Festival Hall in London, comprised selected works by Schubert, to mark the 150th anniversary of his death, and the complete works of Anton Von Webern.  Also incorporated in the book is Hans Moldenhauer’s Anton Von Webern: A Chronicle of his Life and Work.  Webern admired Schubert’s music and several of the pieces performed during the concert series written by Schubert were arranged by the Webern.
