Not dated but circa 1970. Text in German. One of an edition limited to 950 copies, this being No. 797. 40pp plus 8 full colour plate illustrations. Illustrated, paper-covered boards. 12mo. Very slightly rounded at spine tips, gift inscription, dated 1971, on the first leaf else remarkably bright and neat throughout. In its original dust jacket, gently rubbed at edges but bright and clean. Presented in an illustrated slipcase. Slipcase is worn, scuffed on corners and around spine.

A beautiful little book on butterflies, with stunning illustrations. Would make super little gift for a butterfly lover.
