Rochester Bridge: 1387-1856 – A History of Its Early Years Compiled from the Warden’s Accounts

First edition, first impression.  122pp, with monochrome frontispiece and further monochrome plate illustrations interleafed in text, some tables and line drawings in text.  Beige cloth-covered boards, gilt design on upper panel, gilt lettering on spine.  Rough cut edges.  8vo.  Cloth rubbed and rounded on corners and spine ends, a few mild, scattered spots and splash stains. Upper text block edge dull.  Internally there is a some faint spotting on first and last few leaves else neat, clean, bright and tight.  In its original plain printed dust wrapper, price clipped, bumped on edges, toned to brittle on spine, with a short closed tear on the rear panel.  Dust wrapper now protected in an archival-quality Mylar sleeve, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
