Undated [1911] . 80pp. Pictorial light card covers. 12mo. Chipping to edges; wear and soiling to covers, corners rubbed. Some closed tears to fore-edges of prelim pages, else internally, neat, clean, bright and tight.

A witty, spirited and heartfelt retort to the provocative 1910 publication, The Perfidious Welshman by Arthur Tysilio Johnson (written under the pen name Draig Glas), which portrayed Welsh national characteristics harshly and and at times without foundation. Roberts challenges Johnson’s stereotypes and corrects some of his sweeping generalisations on a point by point basis.
