Pissarro: His Life and Work

First edition, first impression.  362pp, with monochrome illustrations and full colour plate reproductions.  Quarter bound in blue cloth over burgundy cloth boards, with gilt lettering.  Large 8vo.  Cloth is a little tired, with some mottling around the lower leading corners, gently rounded on corners and spine ends, and lightly faded around edges.  Previous owner’s name neatly inked on the front free endpaper else internally clean, neat and tight.  In its original worn dust wrapper, rubbed all round edges; bumped and nicked around spine head, with a short, closed tear.
