First thus. First Folio Society printing. xii, 180pp, with tipped in colour plate frontispiece, 11 further tipped in plate illustrations and numerous line drawings in text. Deep blue buckram cloth boards with decorations and lettering blocked in gilt and red front and spine. Upper text block edge sprayed blue. Pale blue endpapers with illustrations. Printed on Caxton Wove paper. Bound by Hunter & Foulis in full buckram. Folio. The volume is neat, clean, bright and tight throughout. House in its original deep blue slipcase, a little shelf worn, very slightly rubbed on corners and a shadow of fading along lower edge.

Peter Pan and Wendy was first published (with the title Peter and Wendy) by Hodder and Stoughton in 1911. It was retitled Peter Pan and Wendy for a new edition in 1921. This Folio Society edition, with specially commissioned illustrations by the artist Debra McFarlane, follows the text of the 1911 edition with minor amendments.
