Internally neat, clean, bright and tight barring a few pencil notes on front free endpaper. An evocative collection of photographs, with brief introductory notes, of Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret, taken in the Spring of 1940. The photographs show the Princesses in their home life, away from the public eye, engaged in their lessons, their hobbies and play, on horseback or with their dogs. Several feature them with their mother, Queen Elizabeth. Slim 8vo.
