332pp, lavishly illustrated in fill colour throughout.  Laminated, illustrated stiff card covers. Small folio.  There’s a mild bump to upper leading corner, affecting covers and pages, else neat, clean, bright and tight throughout.  In its original, illustrated dust wrapper, a little shelf worn, bumped and rubbed along extreme upper edges.  

A truly beautifully produced auction catalogue including artworks by early 19th century Bengal-based artists in the traditional miniature tradition, who initiated the use of oil on canvas by Indian artists, to famous Indian art treasures.  The artworks features, with details, cover the period 1780 to 2000, beginning with the 18th century European artists-cum-printmakers.
