First edition, first impression. 166pp, with monochrome plate frontispiece and further monochrome plates interleafed in text. Black cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on the spine. 8vo. Cloth a little pushed in at spine tips. Upper text block edge dust dulled, remaining edges a little toned. Previous owner’s name neatly inked on the front free endpaper. Pages a little creamy, especially endpapers. In its original paper dust jacket, toned, rubbed on edges with slightly chipping on corners and spine based, crumbling at spine head with minor loss.
