Internally there are some occasional, neat annotations in page margins (not affecting text) and the occasional heading highlighted. Appears well-used with some some rounding of corners, but generally clean, bright and tight.

A series of ten introductory lessons for learning Old Icelandic, with reading sections, exercises and explanations, followed by a section on vocabulary and a translation of Snorra Edda (the Prose Edda, or the Younger Edda), an old Norse textbook of poetics originally written around 1220. The lessons were designed for students at Massey University in New Zealand studying Viking Languages and Old Icelandic.
