First edition, 4th printing. Signed by Tony Ireson on the title page. x. 304pp, monochrome plate frontispiece, further black and white plate illustrations, one fold-out map bound in at rear. Green cloth-covered boards with gilt motif on front panel and gilt lettering on the spine. 8o. Cloth a little rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends. Text block edges a little dull. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original matte dust wrapper, shelf worn, bumped at edges with a few short nicks, tape repair round head of spine.
