Book club edition. 192pp, with page decorations and occasional sketch illustrations. Black cloth-covered boards with gilt lettering on the spine. 8vo. There is a thin strip of mild mottling on the cloth on the lower edge of the front panel, and slightly pushed at spine ends. Slight toning on text block edges. A small scattering of tiny brown spots on the front free endpaper else internally neat, clean, bright and tight. In its original, quite heavily shelf worn, dust jacket, bumped on extreme edges, small nick at base of upper panel, some toning visible on the interior.
