An association, presentation copy, inscribed on the front free endpaper, “Capt & Mrs Tibbets, with grateful memories, from David and Joan Hay.  Capt Tibbits is thanked in the preface for his assistance in preparing the book.  230pp, with black and white illustrations.  Black cloth-covered boards, gilt lettered on the spine.  8vo.  Cloth is a little rubbed and rounded on corners and spine ends.  Hint of toning to text block edges.  Internally neat, clean, bright and tight.  In its original heavily worn and lightly warped dust wrapper, rubbed all round edges with some minor loss on corners and spine ends, shelf worn.
