Cloth rubbed and rounded on corners and ends of a lightly sunned spine, a few marks especially on verso. Text block edges toned. Hint of toning in page margins in places else neat, clean, bright and tight.

Polko’s book on Paganini and his relationships with violin makers was first published in Italian in 1896. This German language edition is from the same year.
