[1938].  76pp, in light card printed wrappers.  16mo.  Card covers a little worn and marked, gently rounding on corners, with some annotations at top.  Withdrawn from the Library of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, with usual library markings inside from cover and some neat annotations on title page, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.

A 1938 report from ‘Modern Transport’ on the pros and cons of nationalisation of British roads and rail, with solid analysis of how nationalisation might be achieved.  With a foreword by Sir Josiah Stamp, then Chairman of the London, Midland and Scottisj Railway company.
