A history of Minley Manor, a country house and estate in Hampshire built in the French Gothic style in the late 19th century by architect Henry Clutton for Raikes Currie, and the Currie family who lived there for three generations. The property was passed to the War Office in 1934, serving as the Senior Wing of the nearby Staff College, Camberley. It was used by the Royal Engineers from 1971 as their Brigade Headquarters and, from 1990 as an officers’ mess for Gibraltar Barracks, until the estate was again sold, this time to a private investor.
