Red cloth-covered boards, bevelled board edges, gilt titles on spine; top text block edge gilt; fore and bottom edges untrimmed, black endpapers. 4to. Sun-faded spine, cloth torn; heavily rubbed corners and spine ends. Fore and bottom text block edges tanning, pages starting to tan (plates not affected). Gutters cracked and strained, volumes loose. Otherwise, internally neat and clean.
