xx, 21-336pp, with some black and white illustrative plates (inc. frontispiece). Red cloth-covered boards, gilt illustration on front, gilt titles on spine, top text block edge sprayed red. 8vo. Boards mottled. Spine sun-faded where there is dust jacket loss, ends rubbed. Corners lightly rubbed. Text block edges lightly soiled and tanning. Quite cocked. Some light tanning on endpapers and early front prelims. Occasional light spotting throughout volume. Internally neat, bright and tight. Dust jacket spine lightly sun-faded, has minor loss, some wear around edges and folds, interior tanned and foxed, not price clipped.
