Text in French. Undated but circa 1915. Illustrated with etchings and engravings from the original productions of the plays and portraits of associated actors and writers. In blue cloth boards with gilt lettering on spine (possibly a later binding). Tall 4to. Boards worn at edges, scuffed and faded along leading edge, rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends. Previous owner’s name on lightly tanned endpapers. First leaf heavily tanned, with small nick on upper edge, else mildly tanned in margins throughout. An illustrated collection of French plays, all of which appear to have had their first production in the early years of the 20th century. Hard to find collection.
