First edition, first impression. xvi, 272pp, with 45 colour photographs, 68 photographs in black and white and further maps and diagrams in text. In publisher’s green cloth with gilt lettering. 8vo.  Cloth is a little worn, gently rubbed and round at spine tips.  Text block edges toned.  Some offset tanning on endpapers.  Reference library stamp on front paste down, half title and title page, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.  In its original worn and faded dust wrapper, rubbed at edges and chipped on corners and spine ends.
