Single, folded, paper sheet, comprising the last will and testament of one William Knightson of Newbridge, Yorkshire, in which he sets out how his primary assets, including New Bridge House and Hoppen Lane House, are to be disposed of upon his death, signed, sealed and witnessed. On the reverse of the will appears the official registration of the will, recorded in 1748 and signed by the deputy registrar. Paper is a little browned, rubbed at edges and some cracks on four-way folds. The wax seal is lightly shipped.
