All edges sprayed brick red. Tall and thick 8vo. . Boards are rubbed at corners and all around the spine with the bottom quarter of the spine leather missing. Internally neat, clean, bright and tight barring a small tear and some flat creasing to two leaves of the index, and some mild toning on prelims. Loosely laid in is a contemporary bookmark from the International Textbook Company, explaining how best to safely open a new book without damaging it. The Internationally Textbook Company produced, in the early years of the 20th century, a series of text books for students of international correspondence schools.
