Volume is neat, clean, bright and tight throughout. Glossy, illustrated dust wrapper, very slightly bumped on extreme edges. Dust wrapper protective in a glassine sleeve; the sleeve itself is a little shelf worn. A study of the work of contemporary artist, Hughie O’Donoghue – of Irish descent, much of his work is inspired by the landscapes of County Mayo – but this work examines also his preoccupation with war and its legacy, not the grand military movements but the experience of the individual.
